Measuring Nursing Value and Performance Using EHR Data

Please join us on April 25th from 6:00 PM - 8PM for a timely and important presentation from John Welton, PhD, RN, FAAN discussing national efforts to use big data and methods to identify, and compare and contrast the input, performance and value of nursing. Two case studies will address national efforts to create data structures and data extraction techniques to identify unique nursing data that can be linked directly to patients. New metrics are being developed using time-referenced data as well as link individual nurses to each patient to measure nursing care systems of care.
