Linda S. Minghella Linda is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blue River Digital Health, an independent healthcare consulting company located in Colorado. Prior to starting her own consulting business, Linda served as the Vice President & Chief Information Officer at Boulder Community Health for more than eight years.
During her 28-year career in healthcare, Linda held both department director and executive level positions. Her most recent areas of responsibility included the Health Information Management Department, Biomedical Engineering, and a large Information Technology Department consisting of Technical Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Business and Clinical Applications, Project Management and two outsourced services – the IT Service Desk and Transcription. Linda has also had direct responsibility for the Information Security Program at two of her previous organizations and lead the implementation of the Meaningful Use Program. She managed a division of over 100 FTEs and an Operating Budget of nearly $25 Million. As a graduate of the University of Maryland, Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management with certifications in both Database Management and Project Management. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology. Linda is a member of the Health Information Management System Society (HIMSS) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). She retired with the rank of E8 (Senior Chief Petty Officer) in the U.S. Naval Reserves in 2001 and became a Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) in 2009. Linda has also served on the Board of Trustees for Frasier Meadows, a retirement community in Boulder County and held the position as the Board chair. She also participated as the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and a member of the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee and the Governance Committee during her 7-year tenure on that Board.
Peg Burnette Peg Burnette began her Denver Health career in 1996 as director of Finance, and was promoted into associate chief financial officer and controller position. She was promoted to CFO in 2004. Under Ms. Burnette’s financial leadership, Denver Health has achieved record patient collection and income results by maximizing key revenue sources such as Medicaid and Commercial Insurance. Prior to joining Denver Health, Ms. Burnette served as the director of Budget and Reimbursement at National Jewish Health in Denver. Peg was selected as CFO of the year by the Denver Business Journal in 2010.
